Would Recommend?maybeIf you love dental assisting, it's great. If you want to make more money, go for the Dental Hygiene program.
Program Reputation6It seems popular with many more women than men. Most students major in Dental Assisting, and then move on to Dental Hygiene as a major, because the field pays more money.
Program Quality5The school is an average community college with mediocre teachers.
Instruction7The amount I learned was the same as any other community college would have taught. The college prepares you with hands on learning.
How Difficult5The program was somewhat easy to complete. It wasn't that difficult of a course.
Hands-On vs. BookishThe program is a mix of hands-on and book learning. I learned best with the hands-on learning.
Schedule Flexibility5There is flexibility if you need to work. The majority of the classes are in the morning/afternoon.
Academic Facilities5The library is great for studying. The classroom space can be small and competitive.
Social Life7There was plenty of opportunities to socialize at school. I didn't socialize so much because I wanted to study and just graduate.
Placement Services6The job placement works for some, but it didn't for me. I had to network to find a job.
Alumni Network6The school has an alumni support network. It has helped me reconnect with other students and network.
