Would Recommend?yesI think that it is a good school with a great education program. Others could benefit from it as I have.
Program Reputation9I Think a lot of really good teachers come from this school. The education program is one of the biggest and most popular on campus.
Program Quality10Everyday I teach Math and Science and I am satisfied with the grade level and school. My college training was helpful to my everyday job.
Instruction8All in all I feel that I was ready to be a teacher after graduation. I would have liked a few less theory classes and more helpful teaching ideas classes. I have learned a lot from coworkers to help out here.
How Difficult5Some of the classes were full of terminology and memorization that were difficult, but others were less intense. They all were informative. some more so than others.
Hands-On vs. BookishDifferent classes would be hands on and others would be very book oriented. The program itself was a good mix of both.
Schedule Flexibility8Most of the time classes were offered at many times to add flexibility. Some classes, however, were set only for one time or semester and were hard to fit in.
Academic Facilities8All of these things were available to the students in the education program. I did not use them as much as I should have, but they were there.
Social Life3I was a young wife and mother right after entering college and I missed out on the social aspects of the college. I am sure they were there but I did not get involved and regret this.
Placement Services2I don't remember much help in finding a job after I graduated. I never really asked for help so maybe it was there and I just did not take advantage of it.
Alumni Network3Other than a few letters in the mail which I have never answered, there has not been much Alumni support. If I had answered the few letters, it may have been better.
