Would Recommend?yesThe name alone can open doors for people, but the curriculum and staff are also amazing. The campus is beautiful and the classes are well structured.
Program Reputation10I learned more than I thought I could in my program. I got to work in classrooms and was prepared for the real world.
Program Quality10I have heard it is one of the best a person can attend. The school has a great alumni program as well.
Instruction10The instructors are passionate and care about your understanding of the subject matter.
How Difficult7I have a friend who attended Wheelock and she seemed to have had an easier time and smaller homework load. The undergraduate program was cake compared to the Master's.
Hands-On vs. BookishLike I said, I was prepared for my job and this was due to the education I received. We had great supervised teaching opportunities and they did have us researching and reading about things to prepare for that, if that makes sense.
Schedule Flexibility7I didn't work full time so I didn't have to mess with the schedule much. I do know that they had a good choice for times of classes, though, and that would probably help people who were working longer hours.
Academic Facilities10This school has a plethora of resources and support. I was never in need or in search of anything as it seemed to be right there at the ready.
Social Life6I think the students were serious about their education and they did socialize but not to the point in which it was detrimental to their education. I did meet great people and I had a fun time.
Placement Services10I actually ended up in my school through a connection I made in one of my classes. She was hired just before me and recommended me. I also had offers from schools that had seen me on Linkedin.
Alumni Network10There is a lot of communication and many events. Great networking is provided as are a lot of resources.
