"I would go back for any educational need, be it for a single class or for a masters degree."

Would Recommend?yesIt is very affordable the professors are the best I have had. It has classes that start early or late or on weekends depending on a person's schedule. I have been to 6 different colleges in 2 different states and in 2 different countries.
Program Reputation8I feel that it is a very strong program and has a good reputation. It's an excellent value for the cost verses any other school in the state.
Program Quality10The professors were amazing. They had real life experience and they were there to help all, the students, through the program. They were very understanding of students' life events.
Instruction9I had projects and assignments that were related to real life situations in a safe environment that left room for errors.
How Difficult8Some of the classes were very challenging and required memorization of many terms. The classes that required participation in therapy methods were difficult because they drew from personal experiences.
Hands-On vs. BookishA perfect mix. I learned from hands on experience and from books. Things like group therapy was involved actual group exercises and book learning along with group projects with research.
Schedule Flexibility10I worked full time and went to school full time. If my school had not had so many night and weekend classes I may still be working on my degree. I would go back in a heart beat to this school.
Academic Facilities10I had no problem accessing my professors for help. I could call them and email as well as visit them during the office hours. I found that many other students were willing to have study groups on weekends and were flexible.
Social Life10My school is not super traditional. I personally did not take part in the traditional school activities due to working full time and going to school full time, however I did see advertising for various social activities.
Placement Services7I have never used the service. I have always found my job on my own, though in 2 of my classes the career placement rep came into the class to review resumes and go over interviewing skills.
Alumni Network7I have never used the alumni network. I have gotten notices and magazines from it, but I have not used it.

Would Recommend?yesI would recommend both the school and my area of study. It was a great experience.
Program Reputation10CO - Springs has been cultivating new students, areas of study, etc. for years. When I attended, it was a smaller commuter college, and now there are dorms, lots of program choices, and a good name in our state.
Program Quality10My sociology teachers were wonderful and thought-provoking. I loved the discussion, theory, and openness to ideas.
Instruction10I had very dedicated, creative instructors. They seemed to really care about us and our growth in the field.
How Difficult8I have always enjoyed learning, so didn't find the course of study difficult. The difficulty was in working and going to school at the same time.
Hands-On vs. BookishSociology is very theory-based, so not a ton of hands on learning occurred. We did participate in studies and had to design one, but most of the work was book/papers/oral.
Schedule Flexibility5Classes were offered day and evening. Still, working and going to school was challenging. Weekends would have helped.
Academic Facilities8I felt the facilities were good. When I attended, nothing was over the top good, but I understand this has improved.
Social Life10The sociology dept. was fairly small, so I had a lot of opportunity to bond with other students. I didn't participate in clubs or things like that, but they were available.
Placement ServicesI did not receive any assistance in this area. No school official mentioned this to me.
Alumni NetworkI don't have contact or participate. I'm not sure if there even is an alumni network.
