"I would take Drexel over any school. It was a great school for the program and very nurturing."

Would Recommend?yesYes, but it is something that you must really be devoted to. You have to work very hard, and recognize that you may not find a job immediately after graduation.
Program Reputation10It's very rigorous compared to other nationally recognized programs. To my knowledge no other schools include the co-op program and study abroad.
Program Quality10I love Drexel's fashion design program. I receive a compliment every time that I mention my alma mater to friends or interviewers.
Instruction10I learned so much in four years. I would say that I learned more than most other students in first year fashion programs.
How Difficult10I have heard over and over that Drexel's program is harder than comparative programs. It was a struggle to make it through the program, the co-op, and the final fashion show.
Hands-On vs. BookishThis kind of major is usually hands-on. I would say that I did little to no book learning except for very specific classes.
Schedule Flexibility10They only accept about 40 fashion design freshman a year, so classes are designed specifically for them. Therefore only one or two sections of a class can be offered each term. If you miss it or need to re-take it, you must wait until the following year.
Academic Facilities10The academic advisors are amazing. There are so many labs, and sewing rooms available, the resources feel unlimited.
Social Life10I was in a sorority, so I was very active on campus. I also went to school in a large city so there was always something going on.
Placement Services10I got my job through Drexel. They have an extensive job search program for all majors.
Alumni Network8It seems that there are a lot of connections. And maybe it's just the economy, but it doesn't seem like many of them have job opportunities.
