"I would take Drexel over any school. It was a great school for the program and very nurturing."
Ratings are on a 1-10 scale
| Characteristic | Rating | Comment |
|---|---|---|
| Would Recommend? | yes | Yes, but it is something that you must really be devoted to. You have to work very hard, and recognize that you may not find a job immediately after graduation. |
| Program Reputation | 10 | It's very rigorous compared to other nationally recognized programs. To my knowledge no other schools include the co-op program and study abroad. |
| Program Quality | 10 | I love Drexel's fashion design program. I receive a compliment every time that I mention my alma mater to friends or interviewers. |
| Instruction | 10 | I learned so much in four years. I would say that I learned more than most other students in first year fashion programs. |
| How Difficult | 10 | I have heard over and over that Drexel's program is harder than comparative programs. It was a struggle to make it through the program, the co-op, and the final fashion show. |
| Hands-On vs. Bookish | This kind of major is usually hands-on. I would say that I did little to no book learning except for very specific classes. | |
| Schedule Flexibility | 10 | They only accept about 40 fashion design freshman a year, so classes are designed specifically for them. Therefore only one or two sections of a class can be offered each term. If you miss it or need to re-take it, you must wait until the following year. |
| Academic Facilities | 10 | The academic advisors are amazing. There are so many labs, and sewing rooms available, the resources feel unlimited. |
| Social Life | 10 | I was in a sorority, so I was very active on campus. I also went to school in a large city so there was always something going on. |
| Placement Services | 10 | I got my job through Drexel. They have an extensive job search program for all majors. |
| Alumni Network | 8 | It seems that there are a lot of connections. And maybe it's just the economy, but it doesn't seem like many of them have job opportunities. |

| Program Reputation | 8 | They have a good reputation as compared to other art schools and are competitive in tuition prices. |
| Program Quality | 9 | Loved the program, they had great instructors. |
| Instruction | 9 | The school has a great ratio student teacher, which allows for a very interactive experience. |
| How Difficult | 7 | I was a very good student who did all my assignments and found everything interesting. |
| Hands-On vs. Bookish | We had a mix of both hands-on and book learning due to the course of study. There was an even percentage of both. | |
| Schedule Flexibility | 3 | Classes are only offered at set times, which makes the schedule very inflexible. |
| Academic Facilities | 9 | The school had great facilities. A library featuring hands-on equipment was accessible to students. |

| Placement Services | 8 | I got a job where I did my internship, and have been fortunate to have had many opportunities. |
