Program Reputation9We had a great school, very professional and beautiful setting. The students know their materials and are confident once placed on the clinic floor.
Program Quality8I was pushed and tried and tested. Definitely paid off!
Instruction7Instructor was tough, but good. Learned a lot and still have been able to retain a lot of that information!
How Difficult7We learned and were tested quite a bit. I definitely felt confident to take my state board examination.
Hands-On vs. BookishPerfect mixture. Lecture in the morning, then clinicals. Spare time was spent focusing on what you needed help with the most.
Schedule Flexibility5School was 5 days a week, Tuesday through Saturday. You just kept going until you reached your 2000 hour requirement!
Academic Facilities10Lots of extra help was available if needed. During free time we could practice on our mannequins or on each other. It really helped a lot!
Social Life9I got along great with my fellow classmates. Always celebrated birthdays and graduations. We were a very close-knit group of girls!
Placement Services8Had lots of salons visit our school and we were encouraged to go out and job shadow. Lots of salon owners knew the salon owner and instructors. It was very reputable.
Alumni Network10Not really applicable to the school I attended. I only keep in touch with those I went to school with because of my own effort.
