Would Recommend?yesI would recommend the school I attended due to the versatility of the courses. You have the option of online and on campus courses. With campuses throughout the state of South Carolina, you have the convenience of getting an education according to your schedule.
Program Reputation10It has a good reputation as an accredited school with transfer programs.
Program Quality10The Piedmont Technical College nursing program curriculum in particular stood out to me as very multifaceted, with several options for courses that transfers to several 4 year colleges.
Instruction7I've learned a great deal but I am pursuing a further education to learn more.
How Difficult5The academic challenge and work load was average in difficulty as it pertains to me, an individual who studied and prepared well.
Hands-On vs. BookishThere was a mix of hands on learning and text usage.
Schedule Flexibility10Online and on-campus options are available.
Academic Facilities10Very advanced, using social media and other online resources.
Social Life5As it is a community college, its very small. But it does have a branch system of other campuses, so not all events were not on a wide basis or frequent.
Placement Services10I was able to obtain my job as a Home Nurse/Care Taker Aid through the career placement program at Piedmont Technical College.
Alumni Network10This learning institution helped me find a job.

Would Recommend?yesBecause I went to school I was prepared for the field and got a job within 1 week of leaving school. After getting a job I found I was in need of no extra training.
Program ReputationThey have a good reputation. A lot of people have gone to the school and talk about it.
Program Quality10I learned what I needed to know to pass my state certification test, so they are, in my book, a good school.
Instruction10She was nice and very knowledgeable.
How Difficult1Taking classes in biology during college made this program a breeze for me.
Hands-On vs. BookishMix of both hands on and book learning. There was 40 hours of hands on work in a first rate clinic.
Schedule FlexibilityNot very flexible. Classes are 3 times a week and during only 1 time of day.
Academic FacilitiesIt was a top notch for classroom setting. Everything you needed to learn was on hand.
Social Life10I had a very good social experience at that school. Everyone wanted to help everyone else pass.
Placement Services1They have one board for jobs. It's not very big and its not filled with many jobs.
Alumni Network1It's not a very large school.

North Greenville University • Tigerville, SC

"I would do many things differently if I could go back to school. I am pleased that I received a quality education."

Would Recommend?noI would not have chosen my university if I had been financially able to attend elsewhere. The school does not offer students a well-rounded college experience.
Program Reputation9The English program at North Greenville University has an excellent reputation. It is considered the second most difficult major at the university.
Program Quality10My university provides excellent instruction in the English language. The professors are very dedicated and have high academic standards.
Instruction10All facets of professional life were discussed with students. The curriculum was very demanding and I learned a great deal.
How Difficult7The curriculum was more difficult than average, because students were required to attend every class session. However, the grading was not as difficult as it might have been.
Hands-On vs. BookishThe school offered almost no hands-on learning experiences for English majors. If a student was unable to learn through books, then the student failed.
Schedule Flexibility3Some summer classes were offered, but most classes were during traditional daytime hours. Also, certain classes were only available every two or four years.
Academic Facilities2No study tools are offered by the school to students in the English program. The one library is ill-equipped and understaffed.
Social Life2Athletic events were not enjoyable. The university-sponsored events were poorly assembled and not fun.
Placement Services3Career Services is underdeveloped and does not serve students well. One Career Services Counselor cannot provide adequate placement service for 2800 students.
Alumni Network1The alumni network is virtually nonexistent, except for the yearly requests for financial donations. No support is offered beyond graduation.
