"Six years ago when I attended the classes, I never thought that I would still be doing this work. I find that the relationship my teacher had with clients and me opened my eyes to a rewarding career."

Would Recommend?yesIf you live in the area and have two free weeks, there isn't a better class around. The course was also free, if you stayed at the nursing home for a year.
Program Reputation1It is a nursing home training program for CNA. That is why it doesn't have a good rating.
Program Quality7I enjoyed my teacher. The class was only a two week class with a state test.
Instruction8She was a very informed teacher. She also made the classes fun and we was able to practice within the nursing home.
How Difficult1The method of making a bed with someone in it was the hardest class. Most other studies were simple and easy to perform.
Hands-On vs. BookishWe would learn in the class from the books and each other. Then we were allowed to do floor learning with a client.
Schedule Flexibility1There was no flexible schedule. If we missed a class, we had to start over.
Academic Facilities4It was good. I was able to learn everything required with the material they provided.
Social Life5I was in a small class of about 7. They were all nice girls and until recently, I remained friends with one.
Placement Services10I was offered a job at the place where I finished the class. I stayed there for over a year only leaving because of mandatory 16 hour shifts.
Alumni Network1Honestly I have no idea. I still see that they offer training classes in the paper.

Program Reputation10There are always more people wanting to enroll than are able to because of class size. They have a very high success rate.
Program Quality10It was an amazing experience. I don't feel I could have been more ready for the "real world" of work. I was taught everything I needed to know.
Instruction10My instructors taught me everything I needed to know. They make sure you are ready and help in any way they can.
How Difficult7There were a lot of things to be covered. The instructors were always there if you needed help.
Hands-On vs. BookishThere was lots of bookwork. There was also lots of hands-on learning. I think the combination is great for all types of learners.
Schedule Flexibility2To my knowledge there is only one schedule available and that is daytime, Monday through Friday.
Academic Facilities10They have multiple resources. There are lots of tutors always willing to help.
Social Life10I had very great experiences there. There are so many fun and exciting things to do.
Placement Services9They are willing to help you find a job. They will assist you in filling out a resume or in any other way they can help.
Alumni Network10The school is very supportive. It is a very close knit school.
