"This school has provided me with a great experience, both socially and academically. It is also very cheap for the amazing quality that it provides; definitely the best bang for your buck kind of school."
Ratings are on a 1-10 scale
| Characteristic | Rating | Comment |
|---|---|---|
| Would Recommend? | yes | Most definitely due to a couple reasons, including the fact that the school is drastically cheaper than others that provide the same quality. To sum it all up, this school provides a wonderful college experience with the potential to take you anywhere in the realm of academia. |
| Program Reputation | 7 | The program at my school is pretty good in terms of overall academic course work in the overall scheme of liberal arts. It also has really tenured and prestigious faculty, however it is not recognized as one of the university's especially prominent programs. |
| Program Quality | 8 | My education provided me with ample theoretical and academic knowledge concerning the cohort of individuals with special needs I work with. It has also harnessed and improved my abilities as a practitioner in the field of humanities. |
| Instruction | 10 | My instruction was extremely good due to a multitude of factors; many of which deal with the positive and conducive relationship between professors. Another factor is the overall environment that promotes success and allows for the dramatic development of skills and knowledge. |
| How Difficult | 7 | This program was more challenging in the verbal realm than compared to those in the mathematical and more 'hard' science realms, like chemistry. However, it was still challenging, especially when discussing abstract and cutting-edge concepts. |
| Hands-On vs. Bookish | This school and especially my specific program emphasizes more of an academic and theoretical outlook, however there are some classes in which practitioner training is available. I think the mix is pretty good as it prepares one more for graduate school in terms of academic versus hands on work. | |
| Schedule Flexibility | 8 | My school has a pretty flexible schedule you can organize to fit in other aspects of your life. Overall it is pretty convenient and options range from early morning to late at night, not to mention the availability of online classes. |
| Academic Facilities | 9 | Resources are very prevalent and a hallmark feature of this school's academic goals. There are nearly unlimited resources to pull from and over the past decade, the resources have exponential increased in terms of technology. |
| Social Life | 10 | This school is located in a relatively small rural town in Wyoming; with a population of only 30,000 people. The small town mentality definitely exists and people are very friendly and courteous of one another and are active in school spirit activities. |
| Placement Services | 8 | They provide ample information on options pertaining to specific degree attainments. They provide classes and career counseling, as well as formal club meetings stressing the topic. |
| Alumni Network | 5 | I rated this as average because while they have a great alumni program, I am not hugely interested in it. However, for others I think they will find it very exemplary. |
