Would Recommend?yesGreat location, which is why I went there. The reputation is improving.
Program Reputation6I think they have improved. They are a fairly new law school and they seem to be enjoying a good reputation.
Program Quality5They have been improving the program. When I attended, the school did not focus on bar exam pass rates. They seem to be improving in that area.
Instruction5Average. Law school does not prepare you for a career in law. It is an intellectual activity. Most of what you need to practice you learn when you are out of law school.
How Difficult8When I was there they were making it difficult because the Dean at the time believed that would enhance the reputation of the school. Grades were depressed, so much so that when we were ready to look for jobs, the Dean wrote a letter that we were supposed to give to prospective employers explaining why our grade point averages were lower than our peers'.
Hands-On vs. BookishThe only hands on work was a trial advocacy program. Everything else was book.
Schedule Flexibility1No flexibility when I attended. They set the schedule and you had to follow it.
Academic Facilities6The campus is attractive and comfortable. Very well stocked law library.
Social LifeNo such thing while I attended law school. Social activity existed, but I rarely participated because there was simply too much reading.
Placement Services5They provide the usual job bank. On-campus recruiting, when I was there, was limited to the top 10% - everyone else was on their own.
Alumni Network5They maintain frequent contact on Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn. There are sponsored events throughout the year such as golf outings and happy hours.
