Instruction8The professors are among the best in the field. They really allow you to explore and develop ideas and skills.
How Difficult8Law school was extremely difficult. The work load was several hundreds of pages of reading per week.
Hands-On vs. BookishExtremely biased towards case law study. Not too many clinical learning opportunities.
Schedule Flexibility5Law schools in general do not offer much flexibility in scheduling. Michigan was no different.
Academic Facilities8The facilities were top-notch. The UM law library is among the best in the country.
Social Life8Athletics are a big part of the social experience. There were groups for pretty much every interest.
Placement Services4Jobs for large firms were plentiful. If you wanted to do anything else, you were pretty much on your own.
