"I was very happy with the adviser I had and a few professors who were willing to really work with their students. I was not however very fond of their financial aid director who made it nearly impossible to complete school."
Ratings are on a 1-10 scale
| Characteristic | Rating | Comment |
|---|---|---|
| Would Recommend? | maybe | If they were someone right out of college I would tell them to go some where else. If it was a single mom I would say go for it. |
| Program Reputation | 8 | It is not any better or worse than other schools in the country. I am not sure of the exact rating of my college. |
| Program Quality | 7 | Teachers were not always the best and I suspect they will mark your grade down so you have to pay more money to take the class again. In one class I had an A the entire semester and was given a D at the final. The professor and school officials refused to help me. |
| Instruction | 8 | The instruction was basically hit or miss for every class taken. Some classes were excellent and clearly laid out the learning material. Others hand you a book and basically said learn. |
| How Difficult | 8 | Most of the classes I took were very challenging and time consuming. Many student dropped the classes they were taking because the classes were too mentally taxing. |
| Hands-On vs. Bookish | The classes that were hands on were very hands on. The only problem was a majority of the classes were very book oriented. | |
| Schedule Flexibility | 7 | The school was flexible except for Friday through Sunday there were no classes. They had very few available classes to take so you had to register right away. |
| Academic Facilities | 3 | The school had no library or cafeteria and was basically an old office building. They had so little parking you had to use three other parking lots to fit all the students. |
| Social Life | 6 | I enjoyed being part of clubs and organizing events in the beginning of my college career, but I had a child and was short on time. I believe I had pretty good school spirit considering we had no sports teams. |
| Placement Services | 3 | The school did not help you beyond your class schedule. Much like the other things at the school you had to figure them out for yourself. |
| Alumni Network | 9 | I remember the support network, but I do not think they had an alumni network. They still send emails to keep past graduated students informed. |
