Would Recommend?maybeTo be a paralegal, there is really no reason to get a bachelors degree. With a bachelors degree from my school, however, I was able to quickly excel in the field. Nevertheless, I will probably move on to law school in the near future.
Program Reputation6The school has a great reputation. However, they are not well known outside of the South.
Program Quality7It is a medium size liberal arts school. They had great professors.
Instruction4I didn't train for any career training in school. I became a good writer though.
How Difficult7The history major required extensive reading. However, I enjoy the subject. I wrote a lot of papers.
Hands-On vs. BookishI never did anything hands on. I mostly just read, although there was plenty of class discussion.
Schedule Flexibility4It was not very flexible. I had class every day, though almost never at night.
Academic Facilities9Had great facilities. They recently went through a huge renovation campaign. The campus was beautiful.
Social Life4Athletic events were not very well attended. The social life was dominated by fraternities and sororities.
Placement Services2As a liberal arts school, job placement services were non-existent. I basically had no idea what to do when I left school.
Alumni Network6The alumni network is fairly strong. However, the network doesn't extend far from the US Southeast.
