Ratings are on a 1-10 scale
| Characteristic | Rating | Comment |
|---|---|---|
| Would Recommend? | maybe | To be a paralegal, there is really no reason to get a bachelors degree. With a bachelors degree from my school, however, I was able to quickly excel in the field. Nevertheless, I will probably move on to law school in the near future. |
| Program Reputation | 6 | The school has a great reputation. However, they are not well known outside of the South. |
| Program Quality | 7 | It is a medium size liberal arts school. They had great professors. |
| Instruction | 4 | I didn't train for any career training in school. I became a good writer though. |
| How Difficult | 7 | The history major required extensive reading. However, I enjoy the subject. I wrote a lot of papers. |
| Hands-On vs. Bookish | I never did anything hands on. I mostly just read, although there was plenty of class discussion. | |
| Schedule Flexibility | 4 | It was not very flexible. I had class every day, though almost never at night. |
| Academic Facilities | 9 | Had great facilities. They recently went through a huge renovation campaign. The campus was beautiful. |
| Social Life | 4 | Athletic events were not very well attended. The social life was dominated by fraternities and sororities. |
| Placement Services | 2 | As a liberal arts school, job placement services were non-existent. I basically had no idea what to do when I left school. |
| Alumni Network | 6 | The alumni network is fairly strong. However, the network doesn't extend far from the US Southeast. |
