"The education was great, but I would never want to deal with the financial aid department."

Would Recommend?maybeI was prepared before I started working and my instructors were great. But I would not recommend dealing with the advisors or the financial aid staff.
Program Reputation8The program is supposed to be one of the best for a community college in the US. I believe this is due to the size of the school and lengths the staff will go to aide your success.
Program Quality8My teachers helped me to get my foot in the door with a great hospital in town.
Instruction8I felt as prepared as one could. When I got to the hospital I found it was easy to get into the swing of things.
How Difficult7My instructors were really helpful with the off-hours study help. They would get groups together to assist the newer students with materials.
Hands-On vs. BookishWe were given plenty of lab time as well as clinicals. This provided us with a steady balance of book work and hands-on work.
Schedule Flexibility7In the beginning the schedule was open. When you enter the nursing program you get what you are given, day or night, near or far (hospital).
Academic Facilities7The school provides adequate facilities. They cooperate with many of the hospitals in town for access to their resources.
Social Life5The school does not put together many social events. The ones they do put on nobody tends to hear about.
Placement Services6They prepared me and aided in the steps to find a job. They did not provide placement services.
Alumni Network6I don't know anything about what the alumni does, nor do I care.
