"I was extremely satisfied with my school. Additionally, I thought a lot of my professors as well."

Ratings are on a 1-10 scale

CharacteristicRatingComment
Would Recommend?yesIt it were still operating, yes, I definitely would recommend it to others. The courses were hard, I won't lie, but in the end, it is very well worth it!
Program Reputation5I gave it an average rating because those of us who attended the school absolutely adored it. However, since it is no longer open, I'm unable to give it an extremely good rating.
Program Quality10Well, at the time, my school was ranked as one of the best in our state; however, about ten years after I graduated, it ended up closing its doors. There was simply a lack of students interested in becoming nurses. Nowadays, they are going straight to becoming RN's instead.
Instruction10They definitely prepared us for the career field. It was a difficult program. By graduation, we had absorbed enough information to be able to pass the RN NCLEX exam.
How Difficult10As previously stated, it was a difficult program and a difficult field of study. You are required to learn a lot of information in a relatively short period of time.
Hands-On vs. BookishI'd say it was a good mix between hands-on and book study. We generally had instruction the beginning part of the day and then there was the hands-on portion.
Schedule Flexibility2I say it was inflexible because it was only offered on full-time hours. There were no weekend or evening options.
Academic Facilities8There were many resources available. There was a library that had books and recordings, as well as a lab with classroom space. Additionally, our professors were also at our disposal. The support system was great!
Social Life5The school spirit was great! We usually got together socially as well as academically for "study parties." We also celebrated our birthdays.
Placement Services10Oh, the career placement assistance was top-notch. They helped us by giving all of us a list of available businesses around the surrounding areas and also offered to assist us with our resumes. I, personally, had 2 jobs upon graduation and I know some of my other colleagues did as well.
Alumni Network3Well, it was a good alumni network. Since the school closed in the early 2000's, I haven't kept up with anyone.
