"It is a good school. Many things need to be improved upon."

Would Recommend?yesI would recommend this because I am learning many things in my major. The experience is fulfilling.
Program Reputation5I am not exactly sure because I am about to complete my first semester in the major. I had always heard great things about the department.
Program Quality7There are many more things I would like to learn. Due to the budgeting, the school cannot afford the equipment needed to get a full understanding of subjects taught.
Instruction8The teachers worked in the industry so I feel they know what they are teaching. Some instructions are too fast for the beginner level and many of the classes taken afterwards are building on the beginner classes. If someone does not gain a great understanding at the beginning, they will most likely struggle throughout the courses.
How Difficult5Some things are difficult in terms of figuring out what's going on in the fashion industry because that is an ever-changing topic. Other than that it is pretty easy to me because it is something I am interested in.
Hands-On vs. BookishSome classes are hands-on such as my sewing class. Some are taught from the book but are also explained using the real world experience of the teachers and other tools.
Schedule Flexibility3I think we need more classes offered during different times. For students who work or have to raise a family, it is very hard to plan out the school schedule because some classes are offered only one semester or very early in the morning or late at night. The class flexibility needs improvement.
Academic Facilities2The school has many labs. But the times they are open are not convenient. There are also many rules: you can only print in a particular lab if you're from that major, or you can only use a lab at a given time. I don't think the facilities are being used for the best interest of the student.
Social Life5I just go to class and leave. For the encounters that I have had, the people are friendly.
Placement Services5I hear many positive outcomes about our career services office. I have not got to the point where I need to use the services provided there yet.
Alumni Network4Its okay because there are some teachers who care and some who don't. I always received better instruction in the classes where teachers showed their passion for the subject.

"The school was small enough to feel homey, but large enough to have space for individuals to grow. The faculty is incredible, and the mix of students there is even better."

Would Recommend?yesThe Walton College is supportive, with a great network for making connections happen. Thanks to the location, almost all professors have real-world contacts to make career growth possible for students.
Program Reputation9My business college was ranked in the top 25 in the nation. We are located near Bentonville (Walmart HQ), so very favorable in supply chain management, etc.
Program Quality8The international program at my school required its students to travel, so all students graduated with a lot more world experience than the typical university student. The professors in the international program were required to have overseas experience.
Instruction8The Business College is one of the highest-ranked colleges in the world. Our college had our own career center, separate from the university's general career center.
How Difficult8I was in the Honors College, so the expectations were higher. I felt challenged, but in a positive way.
Hands-On vs. BookishBecause we are located in Bentonville, there are plenty of internship opportunities that the school helps to coordinate with major vendors/retailers for students. The international program required its students to travel/study abroad, for increased experience/learning opportunities.
Schedule Flexibility7There was a plethora of summer options available. Many of the course offerings had multiple sections available to cater to students' needs.
Academic Facilities9One of the most well-endowed universities in the state, thanks to Walmart - so we have some of the most up-to-date facilities. The school is constantly looking to improve by constructing new buildings/facilities.
Social Life7The Razorbacks play a VERY important part at the school, and act as a unifying factor. Our school attracts students from all over the country, so the mix of people you meet is incredible - you can make new friends every day.
Placement Services7My business college has its own career center and regularly set up career fairs to help its students.
Alumni Network8I received a free year of membership with the alumni association. I receive regular updates from the alumni network in regard to social events and job opportunities.
