"I loved it while I was there and it was good for that time in my life. The crushing debt is not something to look forward to, however!"

Ratings are on a 1-10 scale

CharacteristicRatingComment
Would Recommend?yesDespite the criticisms, I had a great time. It's a good school, and without a shadow of a doubt, it helped me land my current job. It may not have been through the career center, but I got one!
Program Reputation10It's rated well in magazines. I agree with the ratings.
Program Quality7I'm actually very satisfied with my experiences at school, but I rated it a 7 because I'm not exactly sure how what I learned at school necessarily applies to my everyday career. I wish I took more internships in marketing.
Instruction8I loved school and there was value in some areas, but I don't think that what I learned in class directly applied to my day-to-day work.
How Difficult10It was difficult, not because the concepts were difficult, but because it required you to complete quality in much less time than it should take. In short, you had to be superhuman.
Hands-On vs. BookishI wish there was more "real" hands-on learning; sometimes I feel "hands-on learning" is another term for "group work," and they're not necessarily the same thing.
Schedule Flexibility7They do fairly well, considering the options. However, I wish there were more options to do overseas work.
Academic Facilities3They recently got some upgrades, but it was long in coming! This is where I wish the alumni would be a bit more active.
Social Life10My program provided me with people who I think will be my lifelong best friends. Late nights with no sleep and presentations definitely bond people together!
Placement Services4This could do with a lot of improvement. For one thing, more outreach to employers needs to be done. In addition, the career center needs more staff!
Alumni Network10I got all my jobs and internships through the alumni network. The network is so strong that I feel like I can call up any Hoya and be fairly confident I'll get some response back.
