"I am happy that I chose to go to Iowa State. The marketing program was informative and got me ready to work. Maybe not exactly for the marketing world, but for the business world."

Would Recommend?maybeI would if they were within the area. But if they were not considering Iowa State or central Iowa, I would suggest looking into other schools.
Program Reputation7I feel like the program was getting better and the school was working on making it stronger. Not necessarily the best program in the state, however.
Program Quality8Had some great professors in Marketing and business that really believed in me as a student. But I didn't feel like the money spent on school was worth the payoff.
Instruction8I was able to take some very interesting classes in Marketing. I, however, don't feel like much of it really related to my field until years and years of working up.
How Difficult5The marketing degree was by far one of the easiest degrees you could get in the business college. It was thought of as the degree for those who really didn't know what part of business they wanted to go into.
Hands-On vs. BookishThe marketing programs were a good mix. In some classes we dove in and did some hands on marketing campaigns, while others were much more from the book.
Schedule Flexibility8I think they provided excellent flexibility. They had several classes for the summer and online. I was able to make my schedule what I needed it to be.
Academic Facilities10I really liked the building they used for the business school.
Social Life8I enjoyed getting involved in the marketing club. I was able to meet other people in my major. The school spirit overall was great and made you feel like you were really part of the school.
Placement Services4I don't remember them helping me find a position at all. I did attend some career fairs, but this did not help me find a job after school.
Alumni NetworkI am not sure, I do not stay in contact. They call me too often for money.
