"I loved it and would choose it again. If it had a Big Ten athletic feel to it, I would consider it the perfect school."

Would Recommend?yesI would absolutely recommend! I have a sister in law and a cousin going there and I hope that one day my children will consider going there.
Program Reputation6They are not known for this major necessarily, but overall have a good business school. I know there are some spots on TV around here where it shows our progression as an institution though.
Program Quality5I didn't pick the school because of their recognition in this field. They provided me with a good education and experience overall though.
Instruction8They were all knowledgeable in their classrooms. Sometimes I wondered though if everything was up to date as far as what up-and-coming companies were bringing to market.
How Difficult5Learning came pretty easily to me. I remember a stressful senior year/project that I definitely learned a lot from.
Hands-On vs. BookishI remember it being a good mix. I know they tried to incorporate technology into lessons as much as possible.
Schedule Flexibility8I took a decent number of night classes and always remember being able to take a day or two off a week. I never had any problems with scheduling to be to able to graduate in four years without any summer school.
Academic Facilities8Everything that you needed was a walk away on campus. Also, I know they have done a lot of work on campus in the five years since I've graduated.
Social Life7I do wish there was more in the athletic area to get excited about. College was just as much about the great experiences I had outside of class as it was about getting a degree.
Placement Services5I guess I don't know what other schools do, but I don't feel as if BSU did much to help me in this area. I moved halfway across the country to get a job at first.
Alumni Network9I rated it so high because alumni tend to stick together and try to help each other out after graduation. There is a fairly strong contingency where I currently live and work.

Would Recommend?maybeIt is a great school if you want to do consumer product marketing at a traditional CPG company. Location is not great for people who want to live in or near the city.
Program Reputation7IU is fairly well known for its marketing expertise. However, being a regional school, we don't get as much exposure to larger job markets.
Program Quality9IU has a very good marketing program and exposed me to many marketing professionals. Marketing instruction is also top tier.
Instruction9Professors were experienced in their field and worked in it regularly. Professors focused on many of the problems I have since dealt with in my career.
How Difficult8Work was challenging, especially for an introverted person like myself. Lots of group work, but overall, a great experience.
Hands-On vs. BookishI thought it was a good mix of lecture and case, as well as practical outside experience. Lots of opportunities to work with local businesses.
Schedule Flexibility5It was a regular, full-time MBA program; mostly weekday courses for full-time students. They do have online and executive MBA programs.
Academic Facilities9Facilities were excellent; most services were readily available and in excellent condition. Food could have been closer.
Social Life10Lots of events for singles and families. Almost too much going on at one time.
Placement Services7Career Services was very enthusiastic and worked hard to get us placed. They did, however, adhere pretty strictly to traditional and well-defined career paths and were less interested in helping with alternative ones.
Alumni Network8We were exposed to a lot of great alumni. However, at times, it was hard to get a hold of many of them to ask questions, etc.

Would Recommend?yesIt was a great experience with great teachers. I would be happy if my future children go there.
Program Reputation7The school is known in the area but the program itself is a little obscure.
Program Quality7They provide us with the right tools to succeed. They also prepared me with the right materials to study.
Instruction7I had quite a bit of interaction with professors. I also had the opportunity to create my own projects.
How Difficult3I was challenged maybe twice during my years there. I gave every effort to get better but was never really rewarded.
Hands-On vs. BookishI took some field trips and did an internship. Almost all was involved book reading.
Schedule Flexibility6All my classes were on Tuesday and Thursday. I was forced to take a given class when it was offered.
Academic Facilities10Facilities are top notch. They're almost always up to date with new workstations.
Social Life10I was in a fraternity. This group helped me succeed socially.
Placement Services1I had one meeting in four years at the school. I was never helped finding a job, I had to do it on my own.
Alumni Network1I've never even talked to an alumni.

"I was very satisfied with my graduate schooling. I would recommend the program to other professionals looking to continue their education. I feel I am more equipped to excel in the professional world."

Would Recommend?yesYes, I would recommend the program. Someone that is looking to grow personally and professionally can benefit from the same master's program.
Program Reputation9I feel their graduate programs are highly sought after. If a student is looking for a liberal arts education with quality instructors, this is a school to attend.
Program Quality8My Master's program was through online education and I feel I excelled more in my Master's program than in any other schooling. It was a great program!
Instruction7Marketing and Management is more about human relations and your "people skills." I feel I had an excellent education from my undergraduate work and graduate school that helped prepare me for my career.
How Difficult5It is not rocket science. It is more about common sense and learning about people and their personalities. You have to understand people in order to work successfully with them.
Hands-On vs. BookishMost of my studies related to real life experiences since the majority of students were professionals. So we learned based on the experiences of others. However, book study was crucial to completing the course work. A nice balance.
Schedule Flexibility10Participating in an online program is very flexible. Deadlines still exist, but management of time is flexible.
Academic Facilities7I only utilized their online resources, which seemed to be plentiful for an "online campus." Group support from other students in the cohort was useful as well in team collaborations.
Social LifeI did not participate in any extra curricular activities at the school. I assume as an undergraduate the school activities would have been great.
Placement ServicesI did not utilize the school's career placement services, since I was already working full time when I was a student. I do not have a comment on their services.
Alumni Network3I am not connected with any alumni. The school reaches out annually for their fundraising efforts.
