"There could be a lot of improvements, however there is a lot of potential. They really need to get rid of the professors who do a bad job, though."

Would Recommend?noI wasn't satisfied so I cannot recommend this school. If you want to work in my career there are many other options.
Program Reputation5People do not seem to be very impressed. They appreciate the novelty behind my program but are not very familiar with that particular institution.
Program Quality4Half of the classes were excellent and half were absolutely disgraceful. I found that I only got half my money's worth.
Instruction4It depended on the professor. Some were great and I learned a lot under their instruction, but some professors' performances were so poor it was embarrassing.
How Difficult6The classes had some challenges but were not too hard. They did have a considerable workload, but that is to be expected.
Hands-On vs. BookishIt's a total mix. It all depends on the class and the professor.
Schedule Flexibility8The school offers all kinds of options. You can do part time, full time or online and there are many ways to adjust your curriculum to your schedule.
Academic Facilities8It depends on the campus as they have many all over the world. Most are very good, however their China campuses are deplorable and don't have basic tools like computer labs, libraries or study halls.
Social Life8There are many people to meet. The school encourages networking and hosts various events to do so.
Placement Services5It's as good as any school's. However, I have not found employment through it.
Alumni Network9The school is very big on networking. They also have an extensive alumni society.

Would Recommend?yesIt is not as expensive as other schools. There is enough flexibility so that you can work and go to school at the same time.
Program Reputation8I believe it is one of the top 10 in the state. That is very good when considering the cost of the school.
Program Quality6It was difficult to get the classes I needed when I needed them. However, it was a thorough and dedicated program.
Instruction8The professors had a lot of experience in the workforce. They were current and up to date on information.
How Difficult8Some of the economics courses were very difficult. However, some of the social psychology classes were extremely easy.
Hands-On vs. BookishMany courses were straight book learning. However, there were some that required hands on training.
Schedule Flexibility6There were several classes offered at night. There were even a few courses that were online.
Academic Facilities9The library had a fantastic assortment of media, online, hardcopy, digital, etc. There was a great study group that people could join, and it was very helpful.
Social Life7If you had time to go, the organized events were fantastic. I had a great time with the volleyball team.
Placement ServicesI had no experience with the job placement services, nor do I know anyone who used them.
Alumni Network1I have no connection with the alumni network. I do not know anyone who has any relations with any alumni.

Instruction10Great professors who knew the subject. They brought in professionals and took us to American Marketing Assn meetings.
How Difficult7I was challenged, but once I gained real world experience the examples were much easier to come up with.
Hands-On vs. BookishWe learned concepts from the book that were reinforced in the real world.

Webster University • St Louis, MO
Studying Business Administration (completion in 2002)

"At the time of enrollment and graduation I was very satisfied. The school had everything I was looking for in a graduate school at the time."

Ratings are on a 1-10 scale

Would Recommend?maybeI would recommend it depending on what the individual is looking for in a school. Some want a school that also has the social sector, prestige, or challenge. It would definitely depend on the individual whether or not I would recommend this school.
Program Reputation8I chose 8 because its excellent reputation is just local to St Louis. There are some smaller campuses in various states, but I have found some of those campuses are not looked at as "real colleges" as they are for the working adults.
Program Quality7The school is very good, but they have lowered their entrance standards. Lower standards will bring in lower caliber students which will eventually bring down the school as a whole.
Instruction10The MBA program greatly prepared me for my current role as Director. I oversee accounting, marketing, etc. The curriculum was definitely relevant to assist in my success in managing business services and operations.
How Difficult5I say average because I am an honor graduate. I have never found book work difficult, however, I had the opportunity to take a class at UVA and MIT and the classes there were a little more intense and challenging than Webster.
Hands-On vs. BookishMy program was business administration. Most of us had already worked in the business field before interning. There were no internships needed to complete the degree.
Schedule Flexibility10There were so many options. My final classes were taken completely online as I was expecting my second child and could not make it to traditional campus classes.
Academic Facilities10There is a complete online library, as the school has several online programs. The facilities and resources are for plentiful for a school of this size.
Social Life5My social experience was met in undergraduate school. By the time I entered for my masters I was older with a husband and children. I was not looking to socialize, only to complete the program as quickly as possible with excellent marks.
Placement ServicesI never utilized this service and therefore cannot rate it. To my knowledge when I graduated this service was offered, but the department never reached out to me nor I to them.
Alumni NetworkI really cannot rate this. I am not connected with Webster in anyway after graduation.
