"If it was free, I'd go again, just to learn over the old stuff and cram in the new information. I highly suggest anyone who wants to become a massage therapist to highly consider this school."

Ratings are on a 1-10 scale

CharacteristicRatingComment
Would Recommend?yesOverall, I give this school an A. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The teachers are very friendly and smart.
Program Reputation10GREAT! It's ever so popular and growing. I see this school outlasting all the other schools in the area with the same basis.
Program Quality8I was satisfied with the hands-on and science classes taught at this school. I was disappointed with the business portion of school, as I found it very light.
Instruction9The rating would be higher if the business teacher actually taught business. All other teachers provided adequate information and instruction for me to find a job easily in this field right after graduation.
How Difficult10A great success. The workload was just enough to still be able to do it and work at McDonald's for 40 hours a week. It taught me a whole new way to balance my time.
Hands-On vs. BookishVery balanced! Half the class was spent on books and the other half was literally hands on; same with the out-of-school work we had to complete. I found it to be a great balance and conducive to the learning process.
Schedule Flexibility8Decently flexible. I was still able to work 40 hours a week while attending school. I was also able to get all of the schoolwork done. However, the points you got off for lateness and absenteeism did really affect me.
Academic Facilities10I believe they had everything I needed to assist in the education for my career. They always had spots available for me to give my practice massages.
Social LifeI had a lack of desire to really reach out to classmates. Everyone was very nice, but I was very shy.
Placement Services7I've heard it is good, but I haven't used it myself.
Alumni Network7I've heard the services are great, but I haven't used them. I haven't used them for shy reasons only.
