"I really like this school and I sure learned a lot. However, I do feel as though the career services office should have helped me more than it did."

| Would Recommend? | maybe | I would, but that would depend on what they want in a school. I guess I would recommend it to independent people who do not mind the lack of student support. |
| Program Reputation | 8 | It is one of two schools in the area that offers this program. Out of the two, I believe this one is larger and so there are more students. |
| Program Quality | 9 | The school had small classes so the instructors could pay more attention to each student. We had plenty of practice when they held weekly clinics. |
| Instruction | 9 | I felt I learned a lot in a short amount of time. I also felt the instructors I had made the experience great. |
| How Difficult | 8 | I thought it would just be all about rubbing people down. I did not think about the scientific aspect until I was in the program, and science is my weakest subject. |
| Hands-On vs. Bookish | There was a mix. At first it was more book learning and I was a bit surprised by that. Toward the last quarter of the course the hands-on work increased greatly. | |
| Schedule Flexibility | 2 | The classes were not very flexible. There was only one schedule option for the course. |
| Academic Facilities | 7 | They had a good number of instructors. I also felt the classroom offered enough space to learn. The clinics were well maintained. |
| Social Life | 3 | They do not have any extracurricular activities at the school. There were no social activities either. |
| Placement Services | 4 | They did not help me too much with that. I had to do a lot of research to get licensed and find jobs on my own. |
| Alumni Network | 5 | It was okay but I felt there was not enough follow up after graduation. I wasn't given much information about going to get licensed or anything like that. |

"I was not satisfied. The school is mostly about convenience. A quick program that is hands on. Not a lot of support after. Admissions is very pushy as well. They need a change. Enrollment is very low."

| Would Recommend? | maybe | I would recommend it those looking for a quick massage certification who want to work in a "salon" or gym setting, not those who want to work in a medical center |
| Program Reputation | 5 | It is an average reputation. The program is not outstanding, not award winning. It is mediocre and that is known. |
| Program Quality | 5 | I didn't choose Salter School for quality - I chose it for the location. It was just okay… they did not help with job placement, the instructors were mediocre. |
| Instruction | 5 | I wish there had been more of a PT/Rehab focus. I didn't feel adequately prepared. I had to intern at my facility first before becoming staff. |
| How Difficult | 4 | I found the program to be very simplistic. Little to no homework. Most was in-class and hands on. |
| Hands-On vs. Bookish | Extremely hands on. That was the good part. We spent an hour a day in class on book work, the rest was hands on instruction. | |
| Schedule Flexibility | 6 | I was able to choose day or night class, full- or part-time. There was a decent amount of flexibility. No online options at the time I was enrolled for massage. |
| Academic Facilities | 2 | The facilities were bare minimum. Desks and massage tables. Posters of the body and skeletal system on the wall. No libraries. It is a small location in a bad area. |
| Social Life | 1 | Very little fraternizing outside of school. This is a "career" program that earns you a certificate/degree not a full on college. |
| Placement Services | 1 | There is little to no help from the school for job placement. We did have a bulletin board. Admission cares more about getting people to enroll and not helping graduates. |
| Alumni Network | 1 | Little to no help with job placement, which goes against what I was told. There's little alumni connection - I keep in touch with peers from school on my own. |
