"Great school and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to be a massage therapist. I would do the experience over again if I had to."

CharacteristicRatingComment
Would Recommend?yesGreat school with great teachers. Also, the alumni is fantastic.
Program Reputation8The school is well known in New Jersey and has a good reputation. This makes finding a job a lot easier.
Program Quality8They're very thorough with their hands on and book training. They teach you all the basics plus a little more.
Instruction10My hands on and A&P Teachers were great. They had plenty of real life experience they shared with us and I took a lot from that.
How Difficult3For me it was fairly easy for the hands on work. The anatomy was a bit difficult but nothing I couldn't handle.
Hands-On vs. BookishGreat mix of both. Hands-on was taught by a therapist who is currently practicing which made everything she taught up to date.
Schedule Flexibility8Very flexible because they offer night and day classes. Having to take some weekend classes was a bit of a chore, but it was well worth it.
Academic Facilities4They had okay resources for a school of their size. Being only a massage school, they taught the curriculum very well.
Social Life8No real social experience was had because the students had other jobs besides school that took up most of the time. I did, however, make several life long friends and made tons of connections through social events.
Placement Services8Great job placement because of the alumni. They know tons of people in the community that can help you land that first job.
Alumni Network8I landed my first several jobs and clients because of the alumni. Also, a former alum is my mentor now.
