"MBC is a good school. I would recommend the massage therapy program to anyone."

Ratings are on a 1-10 scale

CharacteristicRatingComment
Would Recommend?yesAgain, MBC provides all the tools necessary to become a successful massage therapist. Graduates of MBC seem to be more successful than graduates of other local massage schools.
Program Reputation7Anytime I tell someone I graduated from MBC they only have positive comments about the program. Having a variety of instructors really enriches the program.
Program Quality10Morgantown Beauty College provided me with all the tools necessary to be a great massage therapist. I was fortunate to have many instructors from my field in school.
How Difficult6There was not a lot of work to do outside of class. The subject matter was challenging and kept me very interested.
Hands-On vs. BookishMBC provided a perfect mixture of book and hands-on learning. We would learn from the book then apply what we learned.
Schedule Flexibility6There is a set schedule for classes. The school did allow flexibility in choosing when we worked our logged hours.
Academic Facilities10Professors were extremely accessible and really cared about the success of the students. MBC provided me with all of the tools necessary to be a successful massage therapist.
Social Life10The school did not have any sports teams. I became very close to my classmates since we all worked together to become therapists.
Placement Services3I have not been in contact with the school for job placement. They promise to assist in placement, but it is something a new therapist must actively pursue alone.
Alumni Network2I have only spoken with advisors from the school once since graduation. I remember they have a job placement bulletin board, but I have not taken advantage of it.
Review your current or past school and help others make better career decisions.
