"I was satisfied. It got the job done fast and easy, although I can't say I had a lot of fun or anything like that at the school."

| Would Recommend? | yes | Medical assisting is a job that requires just a certificate, which Everest definitely provides. Classes were flexible and I had no problem finishing the program. |
| Program Reputation | 7 | It's alright. There are a lot of medical assisting programs that all tend to be rather similar, so Everest seems like it's on the same level; no less, though. |
| Program Quality | 7 | My school did a good job, although I wish we had more experiential training. All jobs in medical assisting tend to be a little different, but that would have been nice. |
| Instruction | 8 | Instruction was good, although I did a decent amount of learning online. Professors were good and tried to explain things well. |
| How Difficult | 7 | The program wasn't too hard, although it was rather fast-paced. Help from professors really helped in order to make it more manageable. |
| Hands-On vs. Bookish | We did both, but I think that I would have preferred more hands-on learning. When I started working, I felt that I would have liked more experiential work. | |
| Schedule Flexibility | 8 | I did a lot of my classes online, which was great with my schedule. There wasn't a huge variation in terms of on-campus classes, but many night classes helped. |
| Academic Facilities | 8 | Facilities were decent, although I never really had to use them. There didn't seem to be enough space for the amount of students. |
| Social Life | 3 | At this school, there wasn't a huge school culture. We have no sports teams or organizations, which made it less of a spirited school. |
| Placement Services | 8 | Job placement was great. I knew where I wanted to go and had a few connections already, but the school really helped to solidify it. |
| Alumni Network | 2 | There's really not much of an alumni network. The school does use alumni to find jobs, but not as much as advertised. |

"This program was great for what I was pursuing professionally."

| Would Recommend? | yes | I'd absolutely recommend it. This program offered the hands-on training and a collaborative academic atmosphere that is required of anyone working in the medical field. |
| Program Reputation | 10 | During my medical school interviews I was complimented on my performance in a "competitive, well-respected" program. These interviews took place out of the state where I did my graduate education as well. Leading me to believe that it is not just a local opinion. |
| Program Quality | 10 | This program was unique in that we had cadaver dissection and excellent, passionate professors. They also fostered a collaborative academic atmosphere that I feel has really helped in my current position. |
| Instruction | 10 | Every required course (and even most of the electives) were focused on biomedical sciences for all mammals. CSU is a well-respected veterinary school as well so different species were covered but I was able to choose a "human biomedical sciences" track to best fit my goals. |
| How Difficult | 9 | This program was difficult, there were high expectations of students. However, students were given every opportunity and resource to succeed. |
| Hands-On vs. Bookish | Anatomy dissection was extremely hands on, as were most of our other courses. Almost every course had a lab associated with it. | |
| Schedule Flexibility | 2 | This program was a one-year intensive Master's program. Class times were set and were not offered in multiple semesters. |
| Academic Facilities | 8 | Professors and advisors were always available and willing to help. Our anatomy labs and resources were great! |
| Social Life | 9 | Our program only had fifty or so students and we were extremely close, frequently doing things outside of school together. There was no unnecessary competition and a collaborative atmosphere. |
| Placement Services | I do not have too much personal experience with the job placement and career services departments. However, I did receive emails of job postings in my career through the semesters and was offered resume assistance if I needed it. | |
| Alumni Network | 7 | I did my undergraduate education at a large school with an incredible alumni network. So, this school is smaller and does not quite add up. |

"PIMA is full of kind-hearted people who really want to see their students succeed."
Ratings are on a 1-10 scale

| Would Recommend? | yes | PIMA will stick with you through thick and thin and their teachers know what they are doing. |
| Program Reputation | 10 | PIMA is one of the best schools to go to for future medical assistants. They aren't there to steal your money and not teach like some schools. |
| Program Quality | 9 | PIMA was very thorough. They could have prepared us better for injections, though. |
| Instruction | 10 | The instructors were both kind and intelligent. And they were easily approachable and knew how to be flexible. |
| How Difficult | 6 | The labs were the hardest part. The textbook part was pretty easy to understand. |
| Hands-On vs. Bookish | Their labs/hands-on training is their strength. Very thorough and educational labs. | |
| Schedule Flexibility | 9 | They had so many options for classes. I was grateful. |
| Academic Facilities | 9 | Nice, clean and lots of supplies. Sometimes they ran out of injection needles. |
| Social Life | 8 | I met some great people. I think PIMA teaches their students to be very loyal. |
| Placement Services | 9 | PIMA is always there if I want to try a new job or area of work. Love them. |
| Alumni Network | 10 | If I need anything, PIMA is there. And I love visiting with them. |
