"It was fun, I met a lot of cool people. Most of all I learned what I needed to know."

Ratings are on a 1-10 scale

Would Recommend?yesIt was a good school. I enjoyed the teachers for the most part.
Program Reputation8The school's reputation as a whole is very good. The program itself is like any computer program in that you can pretty much get a job anywhere if you put your heart to it.
Program Quality8I was able to obtain my degree quickly and efficiently. I also had a lot of fun doing it.
Instruction5Teachers could have held me more accountable for my actions. In school I got away with a lot of laziness and it would have been more beneficial to be held accountable.
How Difficult5I didn't have to do a lot of studying. Homework was mostly done at school itself.
Hands-On vs. BookishIT was a mix of hands on and book learning. A lot of book learning does get over the top, so they mix it up.
Schedule Flexibility10I was able to move into a different class because of a life change that occurred. This helped me to be able to keep my job.
Academic Facilities9The school had everything I needed. It had very good trainers and a good scheduling system.
Social Life8I made a lot of good friends. I was able to socialize during lunch hours.
Placement Services3I had to job search myself. It was not that difficult to find a job, however.
Alumni Network6I haven't gone to any reunions. The support from the alumni was good and they did donate a lot of time to the school.

"The school was not top-tier, but it was right for me. I have no regrets."

Would Recommend?yesThe reputation of the school is high. The opportunities are extensive.
Program Reputation7Some of the star professors in the field have left. The program's reputation remains intact due to uniqueness of offerings.
Program Quality8My university program provided the specialization I needed. The location was ideal for the topics I studied.
Instruction8I had access to experts in my field. The professors were responsive.
How Difficult8As a doctoral program goes, it wasn't the hardest but it was challenging. The program required dedication.
Hands-On vs. BookishMy program required both. I was given ample opportunity to publish, which is the equivalent of hands-on in my field.
Schedule Flexibility5I understand more classes were available, but I did not take classes in off-hours. Graduate programs are more restricted than normal.
Academic Facilities9I loved the library and computer resources. They have improved since I left, of course.
Social Life8I was involved in sports, which was good. As a grad student, I avoided parties.
Placement Services1I received no assistance. The field was flooded.
Alumni NetworkI have had no contact with my local alumni network. I have not tried, though.
