Would Recommend?yesIt was a nice school and a good experience. I hope they have better machines.
Program Reputation7It was a good program, I guess slightly above average.
Program Quality5The school was very good, but we lacked tech resources.
Instruction8I use a lot of what I learned. I guess the curriculum was adequate for the time.
How Difficult8It was a difficult program, but doable with regular work. The work load was fairly normal.
Hands-On vs. BookishIt was very hands-on. The idea was to learn by doing.
Schedule Flexibility1There were only a few times when classes were offered. That is one of the bad aspects.
Academic Facilities7There were few professors, but we had a lot of tutors and a good study group.
Social Life10It was a great experience, specially because of the athletics and social events.
Placement Services7We had good assistance. Nothing worth noting.
Alumni Network3Not very much networking between alumni. Only contact with friends.

"The teachers where great, the cost was good, I just wish they had more up-to-date classes. With computers everything is out of date in a few years."

Would Recommend?yesComputer are great, and I love computers. However it is a very hard career because they are changing all the time.
Program Reputation5It is a community college, nothing great. UNLV has a much better reputation, but it is also much more expensive and they closed my degree program.
Program Quality5I love computers, I just wish I could have gotten more education.
Instruction9I did Cisco NetAcad training and that is a great class. The program is very well paced.
How Difficult9Very hard, but not impossible. It take a lot of time on the computer and a lot of work.
Hands-On vs. BookishIt was a perfect mix. Some classes are much more hands on, some are more theory.
Schedule Flexibility2Some classes are only offered once a year at certain times.
Academic Facilities9There are tons of computers and Cisco labs, it was great. They pair up with local high schools and get even more gear.
Social Life3They had some parties and stuff and a baseball team. No major programs like at a large college.
Placement Services3They will help you get a job, but nothing great. They only help you get basic jobs.
Alumni Network4CSN has some alumni and job support, but it is not the best.

"The sessions were very long and there is only so much that you can learn in a day. With brutal hours, it is difficult to imagine that I retained as much as I did; however, that means that the instructors and the schoolhouse did something right."

Would Recommend?yesThere are plenty of opportunities in the Information Technology world. Introductory courses like the one I took allowed for a great introduction, the development of critical skill-sets, and a thorough understanding of the field as a whole.
Program Reputation7The program was fairly new, so it didn't have much of a reputation. It will probably grow in popularity and prestige as the graduates expand and permeate.
Program Quality8The instructors had a lot of knowledge and shared experiences readily with us. However, there were moments where the instructors got ahead of themselves and tried to move too quickly.
Instruction10The school provided me with a lot of skills and set me on a path to attain greater certifications. The knowledge that I learned there allowed me to expand my horizons and certify with industry standards.
How Difficult7There were issues with some of the difficult conceptual modules. For instance, TCP/IP threw most of the students for a loop.
Hands-On vs. BookishThere was an excellent mix of hands-on and book learning. It gave me a better understanding of why you should do something and implement that solution.
Schedule Flexibility3The hours were set in stone. There was no room for leeway; however, the instructors made special exceptions for exceptional circumstances.
Academic Facilities4There were plenty of out-of-band methods to acquire study materials, but there wasn't much in the way of actual resources available at the institution. There were no institution provided places to go.
Social Life8There was a lot of esprit d' corps. The training built cohesion and understanding with students actively asked to help others.
Placement Services8There was a lot of guidance given as far as getting careers in Information Technology. The emphasis was geared towards difficult skill-sets as there would be less competition for employment opportunities.
Alumni Network9I have already been offered jobs with the connections that I made in the school. The instructors were always willing to point us in the right direction if we needed further guidance down the line. There was an emphasis on long-term understanding, not just passing a test.
