Would Recommend?yesI feel strongly about this program. The teachers are excellent. The pay is excellent, and you are guaranteed a job.
Program Reputation6Village is a great place to learn to become a CNA. In my hometown it is very reputable.
Program Quality9The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. I feel like I learned everything I needed to in order to preform my job properly.
Instruction10My instructors were extremely knowledgeable. They were also helpful by putting extra time in for their students.
How Difficult4Being a CNA is not difficult. The study only takes 3 months and then you get your certification if you pass, but it is easy to pass.
Hands-On vs. BookishYou have some book work. The majority, though, is hands on.
Schedule Flexibility1There are set times and days you have to be there. You have no choices.
Academic Facilities5It is an easy certification to obtain. Mostly you either have lecture in one room or go on the floor in a nursing home for experience. This is kind of like clinicals.
Social Life10I made many dear friends in the program. We are still comrades today.
Placement Services10Village trains you to be a CNA to work for them. You are guaranteed a job after completion of the course.
Alumni Network1There is no alumni network. It is a short study process.

"I was satisfied. I learned a lot. I wish the program could have been stretched out a little longer, so the class didn't feel so hurried."

Would Recommend?yesI learned a lot, and with a small class, it's easier to get one-on-one teaching and help from the teacher and classmates. The class also had plenty of real-life experiences, which is really important.
Program Reputation6They constantly have CNA training. I have not heard anything particularly bad or anything particularly spectacular about the program.
Program Quality7The program was ok. I think the training should be more in depth.
Instruction9The amount I learned in a short timeframe was great. Everything that I thought should be taught was taught.
How Difficult4A lot of the teaching was about compassion and common sense. There wasn't a lot of technical info to remember.
Hands-On vs. BookishMost of the learning came from hands-on experiences. The class was at a nursing home, so we got to learn from the book and then practice what we learned.
Schedule Flexibility4They only offered classes during the day. You could miss only a certain amount of days and still graduate.
Academic Facilities7There were no academic resources, like a library. The classes were held at a nursing home facility, and we had a lot of real-world experiences. We also had access to experienced CNAs and nurses.
Social Life7Everyone got along and was friendly. The class was small and we helped each other out.
Placement Services9Everyone in my class was able to find a job. The help from our teachers placed everyone in a job after graduation.
Alumni Network5I didn't hear of any alumni support. The teachers were caring and helped with job placement.
