"Getting my certificate from EMCC has really improved my life. They provided me with the tools I needed to get employment. I have more money and a more flexible work schedule."

Would Recommend?yesIt was a good school. The instructors were very encouraging. They pushed you to complete the program successfully.
Program Reputation8The school has a good reputation in the community. Most of the CNA's I work with obtained their certification from EMCC as well.
Program Quality5Could have been better but it could have been worse. I wish we had more hands on experience.
Instruction7My instructors were good overall. I felt prepared when I finished the program.
How Difficult6I don't really think it was difficult. It is more a physical job than mental.
Hands-On vs. BookishI think we could have had more hands on experience, but I did feel prepared to take a job. I learn more from hands on experience.
Schedule Flexibility3I don't think the classes were very flexible. If you couldn't be available M-F it was really hard to do.
Academic Facilities5Some of the buildings and equipment were older. The healthcare majors building was nicer than most, though. The teachers were great in my program.
Social Life2I was working while I went to school. I just didn't have time to be involved in anything else.
Placement Services9Everyone in my class had a job before we even finished the program. Most of the places we trained at made us offers.
Alumni Network5To be honest, I don't really know that much about the school's alumni network. I get newsletters from time to time.
