"I really enjoyed my school, both academically and socially. I feel I got a well-balanced education."
Ratings are on a 1-10 scale
| Characteristic | Rating | Comment |
|---|---|---|
| Would Recommend? | yes | I feel that my school is a really great school with many great attributes. I also feel that is an inexpensive school, so I think that is a very positive thing as well. |
| Program Reputation | 8 | I feel that they have a great reputation. The school is extremely popular. |
| Program Quality | 8 | I feel satisfied with my classes and instructors that I had previously. Although I do also feel there is almost always room for improvement in any environment. |
| Instruction | 8 | When I started my job, I felt that I basically knew what I needed to know to do my job well. However, there were some legal terms that I was not familiar with at all. So there was still a learning curve that came with the job. |
| How Difficult | 7 | In the classes, there are tons of legal terms to learn and remember. So, it was fairly challenging to learn everything. |
| Hands-On vs. Bookish | I think it was a good blend of both. My memories are of a mix of hands on, especially considering typing classes and etc. and also with the books to study. | |
| Schedule Flexibility | 10 | There were many different types of options for classes. These classes were taught online, at night, and at summer school. There were no weekend classes, however. |
| Academic Facilities | 9 | They had a new library with tons of computers and books that you could use. You could check out laptop computers there, and there were study cubicles everywhere. The teachers were also very accessible anytime we needed them. |
| Social Life | 8 | I had a lot of fun, and I have a lot of wonderful memories. There were tons of clubs and teams of all sorts. |
| Placement Services | 8 | They were always available for help with questions I had. They were wonderful in helping to prepare our resumes for our job interviews. |
| Alumni Network | 3 | The school needs definite help with the alumni network and support, because there is a real need to increase that. They need to be better organized. I think that is their main problem. |

"I'm glad I went to college. Would I have gone to another school and enjoyed it more? Sure. But it was close to home."
Ratings are on a 1-10 scale
| Characteristic | Rating | Comment |

| Would Recommend? | maybe | If they were living in the area, etc. It's great if you live in the area, but it's not worth commuting to. |
| Program Reputation | 8 | It is the highest ranked as far as passing the CPA exam. Nationally, it doesn't rank significantly. |
| Program Quality | 7 | I felt like they were qualified to teach the courses, yet there was more focus on Masters clientele. It was underfunded for the tuition that they charged. |
| Instruction | 7 | The professors were knowledgeable about the materials. The career preparation was terrible. The salary expectations were way beyond the actual salaries paid. |
| How Difficult | 10 | Accounting is next to nursing as far as difficulty. The requirements were a minimum of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale. |
| Hands-On vs. Bookish | There was lots of book learning. I did not have any programs that required realistic work expectations that I would consider hands on. | |
| Schedule Flexibility | 5 | As far as freshman classes go, they are pretty flexible. Once you get beyond the sophomore level they become more stringent. |
| Academic Facilities | 5 | Library is dated. The accessibility of professors is very good. |
| Social Life | 5 | It was fun, yet larger schools offer more social programs. |
| Placement Services | 4 | The career placement does two or three job fairs a year and is not proactive in assisting alumni. They are good at finding low paying jobs, but those don't pay enough to cover the tuition! |
| Alumni Network | 6 | It's still a small college. We have local chapters, but no real quality Alumni Network. |
