"Great school. I think it could have used more personalization, though."
Ratings are on a 1-10 scale
| Characteristic | Rating | Comment |
|---|---|---|
| Would Recommend? | yes | I think the school gives a great education to its students. I believe that for the money you are really getting a great experience. |
| Program Reputation | 10 | Great place to send your children to go to school. They are known for their educational stature. |
| Program Quality | 5 | I believe that BU could have offered more experiences in the field. Also, they could have helped me find a better job. |
| Instruction | 7 | Teachers at BU were great but could have been more diversified. Great class rooms and level of work. |
| How Difficult | 6 | The work was not that difficult. Could have used more real world experiences. |
| Hands-On vs. Bookish | There is not much book learning anymore. Even books come electronically now and make it easier to work. | |
| Schedule Flexibility | 8 | Too many students to allow too much flexibility. More staff would've been nice. |
| Academic Facilities | 8 | They need more areas to work on computers. It would be nice if they had better programs to work on. |
| Social Life | 9 | Frats and sororities were abundant. Great school spirit. |
| Placement Services | 8 | They tried to place me and help me as much as possible. I could have used more follow up. |
| Alumni Network | 6 | Lacking in support for the alumni. Great networking opportunities, though. |

"I would do it all over again. I was very satisfied and managed to pay for it as I went through - another bonus."
Ratings are on a 1-10 scale

| Would Recommend? | yes | The great faculty and the convenience of the schedule were both incredible. Also, the peers you study with are a great resource. |
| Program Reputation | 10 | I think that the school I chose is a good one and the program is not only surviving but thriving and growing. My sister just got her PhD through the same program and is experiencing great success. |
| Program Quality | 9 | My Masters program was a good one intellectually and the colleagues I met were an excellent resource for me. My professors were knowledgeable and had practical professional experience. |
| Instruction | 8 | Some professors were very strong and others were not. Some were too academic and didn't offer any practical advice that could be useful in the work environment. |
| How Difficult | 7 | Because all those in the program were also working full time, I think the course work was geared to what a person could reasonably be expected to do while working a 40 hour work week. I think if we had been in the program full time-they would have expected more from us. |
| Hands-On vs. Bookish | We did lots of case study work, and this was a great combination of book and practical knowledge. Overall, a very good mix. | |
| Schedule Flexibility | 10 | I was able to attend nights and weekends which made the program do-able for me while working full time. I think a professional program needs this flexibility. |
| Academic Facilities | 8 | The campus resources and library were very effective and had great hours. The campus needed an injection of funds, but since that time they have done a HUGE capital campaign. |
| Social Life | I have no idea and no experience with this. I was there only on nights and weekends and wasn't there for any social events. Professional graduate degrees rarely involve these functions. | |
| Placement Services | 8 | The program is there to be used. It seems like it has the most current capabilities. However, I'm unsure as I haven't used it. |
| Alumni Network | 8 | While I am not choosing to be active in the network, I do receive mailings which tell of lots of events and networking possibilities. Also, I have never used the carer services offered at the school, but I know they are there. |
