Would Recommend?noMy career is very specific and I don't believe any school really teach what only learning by doing can achieve. If you want to be in a normal desk job than maybe this is the school for you.
Program Reputation5The school is a State school with little difficulty to get in. I cant imagine any of the programs being overly comprehensive.
Program Quality5I didn't do very well in school and was more excited to get working than to study. I prefer to learn by doing, however the school was fine...it was me that needed something different.
Instruction5I felt at times I was just as qualified as many of my teachers to instruct the class. I need to be challenged and most times I wasn't.
How Difficult5I don't even remember most of what was taught and required. At no point did I feel overly pressured to complete a task, and my grades remained good.
Hands-On vs. BookishI felt this school was very text book oriented. This was disappointing to me because, as I stated earlier, I learn by doing.
Schedule Flexibility4There were a few occasions of wanting specific courses that I wasn't able to take due to scheduling. In the late 90's there weren't many online offerings either.
Academic Facilities7The facilities were great. The campus itself was beautiful and everything was in a short walking distance. Everything and everyone was easily accessible.
Social Life9The social aspects of this school are the main reason people attend. Fraternal organizations are many, and the school itself is very involved in community events and volunteer service.
Placement Services2I had no assistance with job placement. To the defense of the school, I didn't ask for any help either, so I don't know if one exists.
Alumni Network4I do not take part in any Alumni events or online updates. I honestly don't know anything about that network.
