Once they are fulfilled, only then can you start developing your own independent course of study and interest. |

All of the above mentioned - evening, weekends, summer and online - are available, as well as programs abroad, interrupted sessions without penalty, and moving from and within departments without loss of credit hours. |
| Academic Facilities | 10 | Rutgers has extraordinary, often state-of-the-art academic resources. These range from excellent libraries and vast reference materials, online national and international programs, closed conferencing between student and professor, and easily accessible tutorials and one-on-one support. Their clinical and laboratory facilities are also excellent. |
| Social Life | 10 | I love Rutgers. It has a hometown feel to it, and a great influx of international students and professors as well. There are too many social events and groups to ever experience them all completely, and there is a real northeastern camaraderie amongst the students and faculty. |
