Program Quality10My program at Grace was so helpful! It taught me so much about relating to others.
Instruction10The teachers were incredible. They taught with authenticity, authority, and grace
How Difficult8We took an average of 15 hours a semester. That is a pretty crazy workload for graduate school.
Hands-On vs. BookishThey have the perfect balance. Both theory and application are emphasized.
Schedule Flexibility10They have both online and evening options. They try to be very accommodating.
Academic Facilities10Grace had an excellent library. They also had excellent meeting facilities.
Social Life10I had amazing relationships with my classmates. Grace focuses on personal and professional development.
Placement Services8They are frequently sending out emails with job opportunities. They seem willing to help.
Alumni Network5I have not sought out these programs. However, I am sure they are strong because Grace is great at creating community.

"This school taught me things and got me the degree that I desired. However, I wish that I could have gone further into journalism at this school."

Would Recommend?yesI think that they offer a good foundation for Professional Communications. I have been able to use the things I have learned in my job because I have to write letters and speak with people at other businesses on a daily basis.
Program Reputation5This program is not one that the school is "known for" because not many schools around here offer this program. This school is mainly a base level college, allowing students to get their basic class credits before transferring to a bigger college.
Program Quality8The school made available a lot of useful classes and information that I was able to use at my job while I was still learning it. However, I didn't feel like the teachers really cared about the subjects they were teaching.
Instruction8I felt that I learned a lot of things that were really helpful to me in my job, such as Microsoft Word and Excel. I also learned a lot about media communications that have helped me to give knowledgeable input to my bosses when it comes to advertising the business.
How Difficult9Working, taking care of a family, and going to school offered up some challenges in itself, however I felt that my classes were challenging and sometimes felt that there was too much homework when taking a full class load. I found Algebra to be challenging, but was able to excel in it because of a teacher who, although he challenged the class, also explained concepts over again if someone was lost.
Hands-On vs. BookishWith my program there wasn't a lot of hands-on activities to do. I did have a visual communications course that required me to create projects and a computer graphics class that was hands-on. Other than that, the classes I was required to take were book learning.
Schedule Flexibility10I loved being able to have the option of taking classes online. When I did need to take a class on campus, there were always several class days to choose from so I could find something that fit my schedule.
Academic Facilities5There were tutors available in the resource library if needed. My academic advisor and professors were always available, either by phone or email. This was very helpful when questions or problems came up outside of class.
Social Life2This school doesn't have sports teams. There were activities, such as bowling and secret trips, that I had the opportunity to participate in. Different organizations would put on activities such as cook outs for the student body to attend.
Placement Services1There was not one thing said to me as I neared graduation about job placement. I never received career services assistance, although I was never worried about it because I was already working for my employer when I began school.
Alumni Network5I am unsure if this school has an alumni network. I graduated in May and I have never been contacted concerning this.
