"I'm just taking classes for fun. I'm not extremely satisfied, but at the same time, I'm not disappointed. Like anything, it has its good aspects and poor ones."
Ratings are on a 1-10 scale
| Characteristic | Rating | Comment |
|---|---|---|
| Would Recommend? | maybe | Before recommending the school, I would want to know what the other people wanted. Then, I would provide them with information about my experience and let them make their own choice. |
| Program Reputation | I have no idea. I just found some courses that I wanted to take and ended up enrolling in this master's program. Other people that I know have taken classes there and rate the undergrad program highly. | |
| Program Quality | 5 | It's an okay school. I'm just pursuing a master's for fun, not because I expect it to change my life. It is a military-friendly school, and that is important to my family. It has interesting classes. |
| Instruction | 5 | The instruction relies heavily upon class participation; if others in the class don't participate or don't have anything intelligible to say, then the instruction is bad. |
| How Difficult | 3 | The classes that I have taken so far have been both incredibly easy and incredibly time-consuming. I'm dissatisfied with the lack of intellectual challenge, but the classes do take up a lot of my time. |
| Hands-On vs. Bookish | It is very hands on and discussion-oriented. The books are read, but not really discussed. | |
| Schedule Flexibility | 10 | Being an online, military-friendly school, the class schedule is very flexible. Courses start every month. Additionally, teachers are willing to work around obstacles. |
| Academic Facilities | 3 | The librarians are very good, and the media used in classes is fairly good. There are no laboratories, classroom space, academic advisors, or study groups in my fields. The professors appear to be overwhelmed by the time-consuming nature of the classes, and while they attempt to remain accessible, there is a time delay in responses. |
| Social Life | 1 | I have not had a social experience at my school. There is an online forum, but no one really does anything social on it. |
| Placement Services | Any type of assistance or support is nonexistent or non-published. Therefore, I would not know how to rate it. | |
| Alumni Network | I have no idea about the alumni network; I have not seen anything about this. Any support aspect at the school - whether technical, academic, or other - is very fragmented and unpublicized. |
