Supply Chain Management (completion in 2010)

"I consider it a great experience and would not trade it for the world, though I do wonder how things would be different if I went elsewhere."
Ratings are on a 1-10 scale

| Would Recommend? | yes | I would absolutely recommend the school if you want a job as BGSU can find you one pretty easily. Especially if your entering a field in which employees are in demand. |
| Program Reputation | 6 | Our MIS program was quite new so it did not have a great reputation. The supply chain program is considered one of the top 20 in the country. |
| Program Quality | 8 | I felt that my education provided me with a good deal of preparation for my career. There were still things I was I had known prior to beginning my career. |
| Instruction | 6 | Instruction often left something to be desired, as I did much of the work myself. However, I feel like I was reasonably prepared for my career. |
| How Difficult | 7 | It was not something I would consider extremely difficult. I felt that there was a basic learning curve with learning SQL and other database functions, but after that, it clicked with me. |
| Hands-On vs. Bookish | It really depended on the professor. Some classes we were told we didn't need the book at all. Other classes you could get by simply by reading the chapters. | |
| Schedule Flexibility | 3 | Many of my classes in my last year were only offered in one section, which was incredibly inconvenient for me. I worked two jobs through school, and my last year was a mess, as I had no flexibility. Up to that point, classes were incredibly flexible, offering summer, evening and online classes. |
| Academic Facilities | 4 | Professors were very accessible. However, the buildings and campus in general was noticeably run down and looked much worse than many other campuses I've been on. |
| Social Life | 5 | Our school has little to no spirit for any sports teams. However, the city was the party scene for the entire region of the state. |
| Placement Services | 9 | I felt that job placement/co-op program was incredibly helpful. I can't think of much more I would ask for. I had multiple job offers before graduation. |
| Alumni Network | 2 | The alumni association at my school is horrible. I am regularly asked for money, and feel that someone spent all of ten minutes on the quarterly newsletter. |

"I don't feel like I got the most out of my education. I am currently enrolled in an online school to further my education; I prefer that more."

| Would Recommend? | maybe | It depends on what the person is looking for and if it fits their lifestyle. It didn't satisfy me. |
| Program Reputation | 4 | It's just average. Not very in depth, and the fact they did not assist in job placement was poor. |
| Program Quality | 5 | It's a community college, so it was average. I feel if I went to a university or IT school, I would have gotten more out of my education. |
| Instruction | 2 | I didn't receive much preparation for my field. I also didn't get any help with job placement. |
| How Difficult | 7 | My overall major was behavioral health. It was fairly difficult. |
| Hands-On vs. Bookish | They utilized both. I would have preferred more hands on. | |
| Schedule Flexibility | 7 | It was a community college, so they had pretty good flexibility; late hours and sometimes weekend classes. |
| Academic Facilities | 5 | Just average. Nothing impressive about the resources. |
| Social Life | 3 | Being a community college, they didn't have many social activities. There was a university nearby; most people went to those functions. |
| Placement Services | 2 | They did very little to assist me. It took some time to find work on my own. |
| Alumni Network | 2 | It was a community college. I may not have utilized all my resources, but they also didn't make it very known with their networking. |
