Telecommunications Equipment Installers and Repairers Job Description

Telecommunications equipment installers and repairers set up and maintain sophisticated communications equipment. Their roles are defined by the industry they work in. Station installers and repairers, also known as telecommunications service technicians, install and repair telecommunications equipment in homes and businesses. Central office installers and repairers work at switching hubs known as central offices. Switching hubs include the switches and routers that are utilized to direct information to its destinations.
