Christ And Missionary Alliance Church Colleges

The Christian and Missionary Alliance Church (C&MA) is an Evangelical Protestant denomination within Christianity. Founded by Reverend Albert Benjamin Simpson, the Christian & Missionary Alliance originated as two distinct organizations: The Christian Alliance and The Evangelical Missionary Alliance, which melded in 1897 to form The Christian and Missionary Alliance. It was not until 1965 that the official denomination was formed. Currently in the United States, there are more than 2,000 C&MA churches and over 400,000 members. The C&MA headquarters is located in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Colleges affiliated with the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church range in location from Georgia to California, with the largest school being Nyack College (Nyack, New York), established in 1882 and originally known as the Missionary Training Institute in New York City. It was founded by Albert B. Simpson (who is also credited with founding the C&MA Church.)
