Mennonite Brethren Church Colleges

The Mennonite Brethren Church was established among Russian Mennonites in 1860 and has more than 180 congregations with more than 25,000 members in the United States alone. Its origins are rooted in European pietism. Because of conflicts with the then Russian Czarist government and later because of the political turmoil of the Russian Revolution, a large number of the Mennonite Brethren moved to the United States in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
